Carilion's Newest Medical Clinic has DLP Art Works

Hello Friends,  Just wanted you to know the new clinic Carillion opened in the building that was a grocery store on the corner of Wonju and Franklin has art works created by some of the Double Line Painters.
Above, a piece by Linda Schaar on the left and by Bonnie Mason on the right.

Here we have two pieces by Judy Lochbrunner on the right.

Here is another piece by Judy on the right.  And I believe there are more on other floors.
It's always fabulous to have someone purchase your work but it is really great when you know so many people will be viewing all your hard work.

Congrats ladies !!

Glad you could stop by.

Gathering Reference Photos along Route 11

Hello Friends,  We had a lovely, sunny day to travel on I81 to Draper, Va. today.  Do you see that beautiful blue sky?  That photo is of the Draper Mercantile, our first stop or the starting point.  We traveled backward from here to Salem on Rt. 11.

This is where the New River State Trail starts.  You can see it from the porch of the store above.
Judy sent you a link , HERE.

We have a big show coming up soon at the Abingdon Arts Depot.  Click HERE to read more about the Arts Depot.

Now we have to knuckle down and sling some paint !  Hope you come out to see what we have slung.!!

Hello friends,  Is anyone out there enjoying this blast of frigid air from the polar vortex?
I KNOW I'm not, but it is a good excuse to stay indoors and play with paint, gesso, glue, crayons, oil pastels, markers and Masa paper !!  As if we need an excuse.

A couple of our members are having real issues with time management because they have loved ones needing close supervision.  So mainly it looks like Judy  and Sue are the busy ones in the studio.

Top photo is some colorful notes Judy is trying out.
Second photo is the beginning of a critter piece Sue made for the "Wild Things" exhibit at Town Provisions in Bedford, Va.

Just a quick post to let you know we haven't frozen to death yet and we are busy.
Please leave a comment telling us what is keeping you busy.  Are you in the studio, or the spare bedroom or at the grammy's or in sunny Key West?  Let us know.

Hello Friends,  There is a new show/new paintings hanging at the restaurant called "Town Kitchen" in Bedford, Va.

Above is Patrick at the Goose Creek Gallery showing you some of the work from DLP's for the show.

Here is a shot of the delicious restaurant from the outside.  We don't want you to drive by.

Here is a shot from the front door, showing down the hall where the majority of the work will be hanging.
You should go see the artwork AND stay for their wonderful food.  Everything I've had there was delicious.

Until next time, we hope you have the best week ever.
